Our first stop on our Mallorca Beach tour is a hidden gem nestled on the southeastern coast the secluded beach of Cala Varques.
Access is a little challenging, reachable only by a longish 2-3 kilometre walk or by boat, It’s worth the effort though. Tucked away from the bustling tourist hubs, this pristine beach offers a little slice of paradise.
When you arrive Cala Varques rewards you with its untouched beauty and pristine waters. Picture perfect turquoise waters and golden sands, all framed by rugged cliffs it’s a real gem of a location.
Pack your snorkel gear and explore the vibrant marine life beneath the surface, or lay back under the healing Mediterranean sun with the gentle sound of waves in the background.
Cala Varques is a true haven for nature lovers and solitude seekers alike.

There are some interesting hiking routes you might like from the Cala. for example Cala Varques to Cala Magraner: This trail is about 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) long, Nice coastal views and passing through pine forests.
To complete your day out there are plenty of interesting places to visit near Cala Varques, we recommend.
Caves of Drach (Cuevas del Drach): Located approximately 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) from Cala Varques, a grotto of limestone caves featuring impressive stalactites and an underground lake.
Santuari de Sant Salvador: Situated around 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) away, this historic monastery offers panoramic views of the island from its hilltop location.

Caló del Moro
Caló d’es Moro
Venturing a little to the southwest, we arrive at the enchanting Caló del Moro – another hidden beach waiting for you to explore.
It’s tucked away and surrounded by low but quite steep cliffs, this beautiful secluded beach boasts crystalline waters and soft white sand. Not a huge beach, just forty-ish metres (50 yards) long
Access is a little challenging via a narrow pathway that twists down the cliffs to the beach, Because of this I don’t think it’s the best beach for if you’re looking for easy access, especially for wheelchairs etc.
Once you do get there Cala des Moro beach offers a real sense of seclusion rarely found on Mallorca’s more popular beaches.
So spend your day soaking up the Mediterranean sun on soft, powdery sands, or go for a refreshing swim. It’s a snorkelers delight, the underwater is teeming beneath the surface.
Photographers can find endless inspiration in the dramatic surrounding coastal scenery.

There are some interesting hiking routes you might like from the Cala. for example Caló d’es Moro to Cala S’Almunia: This scenic coastal hike offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. The trail is approximately 3 kilometers (1.86 miles) one way
There are plenty of interesting places to visit near Caló del Moro, but we definitely recommend.
Santanyí: A charming little town is renowned for its traditional architecture, weekly market, and artistic community.. Around kilometers (6.2 miles) from Caló d’es Moro and is worth a visit to stroll through its cobblestone streets

Next on our itinerary around Mallorca’s beaches is the rugged beauty of Cala Torta, located on Mallorca’s northeastern coast.
It’s far from the tourist crowds but you still need to get their early, I recommend between 9:00 and 10:00 in the summer months to ensure a parking spot.
I must point out though the road to the closest parking spot is extremely challenging at times full of bumps and pot-holes. If you and your car are up to it there is a brilliant reward waiting for you.
Once parked it’s a fairly short walk down to this hidden and secluded beach. This unspoiled beach open to the sea and waves, Cala Torta rewards visitor’s with its raw, untamed charm.
An expansive stretch of golden sand, all fringed by gnarled juniper trees and dunes. The clear waters are great for swimmers and snorkelers alike. Whether you’re seeking solitude, adventure or just gentle sea breeze,

Castell de Capdepera (Capdepera Castle): On top a commanding hill, around 15 kilometers (approximately 9.3 miles) from Cala Torta, this medieval fortress offers a glimpse into Mallorca’s rich history.
Capdepera: Approximately 30 minutes away by car, Capdepera is a charming medieval town crowned by its impressive castle

Heading southeast along the coast, we come to the secluded cove of Cala Mitjana.
It really is tucked away from, and hidden from the tourist trail. If you’re driving it’s a 20 minute walk from parking spots. Accessible via a scenic coastal trail too,
When yo do arrive this idyllic beach offers serene tranquility in the early and late season. Because it’s a very small beach in high season expect to use the surrounding rocks to sunbathe. .
Cala Mitjana has powdery soft, golden sands and clear azure waters. The surrounding rocky cliffs adorned with lush vegetation and bougainvilleas. This hidden cove feels like a secret paradise.
Clear waters, soft sand, a refreshing swim, or simply relax under the shade of the surrounding rocks with a good book in hand.
Cala Mitjana may be off the beaten path, but its worth the time to find it.

Walkers can enjoy stunning views of the coast line. The trail typically takes around 1-1.5 hours to complete

Next on our journey to the hidden beaches of the east coast of Mallorca there’s Cala Magraner a secluded inlet waiting to be discovered and enjoyed.
Accessible only by foot or boat, this unspoiled beach is a taste of Mediterranean paradise, A picture-perfect spot where turquoise waters lap up against golden sands. The cove is surrounded by towering cliffs to explore dotted with pine trees. Nice!!

You’ll trek along cliff edges, to arrive at the stunning Cala Varques, also known for its pristine turquoise waters and secluded beach.

Santueri Castle: Around 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) away, drive. Santueri Castlei is a peeke into Mallorca’s history. Built on a hill top the astle has panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and coastline.
Cuevas del Drach (Drach Caves): Located approximately 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) from Cala Magraner, these are just stunning caves, a must-visit. Impressive stalactites and stalagmites and a huge underground lake.

Accessible only via a scenic coastal trail, this pristine cove offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This is a smooth pebble beach, with jagged cliffs providing a quite dramatic backdrop against the blue Mallorcan sky.
Solitude, adventure and a long 30 minute walk, Cala Bóquer has something for everyone. Hiking along the coastal paths rewards you with breathtaking views and if you’re lucky you’ll spot wild Mallorcan goats on the way. When you arrive dive into the crystal-clear waters for a refreshing swim.

Mirador Es Colomer Trail: A popular option for hiker from Cala Bóquer is the Mirador Es Colomer walk. Takes you to the iconic Es Colomer viewpoint of the dramatic cliffs of the Formentor Peninsula. The trail is around 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) long, and is a little challenging but worth it.

Formentor Lighthouse: Just a short drive from Cala Bóquer, the Lighthouse tops the rugged cliffs of Cap de Formentor. Driving to the lighthouse only takes 20 minutes. Visitors can explore the general area surrounding the lighthouse and of course the stunning views.
Pollença Old Town: Situated just a few kilometers from Cala Bóquer, Pollença Old Town is a real gem of a charming historic village. With narrow streets, quaint cafes, and a vibrant Sunday market..

Our final destination brings us to the really secluded inlet of Cala Tuent, nestled within the stunning, rugged landscape of Mallorca’s northwest coast.
Cala Tuent can be reached by car driving along a twisting that is also takes you to Sa Calobra and Torrent de Pareis. It’s a secluded spot but plan to arrive early during the high season as parking can fill up fast.
This is a long (approximatly 80 metres) smooth pebble beach with great views all the way to the Serra Tramuntana mountains.
You might spend the whole day in Cala Tuent or combine it with a trip to the Torrent de Pareis, a stunning rock formation and small beach also well worth a visit if you have time, it’s about 10 minutes away by car.

Cala Tuent to Sa Calobra Trail: From Cala Tuent to the iconic Sa Calobra beach, passing through dramatic cliffs and secluded coves along the way. .It’s a moderate hike of about 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) each way, taking roughly 3-4 hours to complete.
